Joseph Smith is not mentioned in the Bible. Mormons believe in extra-biblical revelation, so this is not a problem for us.

Mormons believe in the Trinity but have a slightly different view than other Christians. Mormons tend to read the New Testament more literally than other Christians when considering this question.

We believe in the divinity of the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost. We believe they are physically separate beings, but that they function in perfect harmony of will and purpose as one monotheistic unit, called the "Godhead," or, as Mormons often shorten it, just "God."

The difference between Mormons and other Christians is that other Christians technically believe that the three members of the Trinity are somehow simultaneously "one and three," but when they talk about the Trinity casually they typically speak of its three members as if they were separate beings. In casual speech Mormons speak the same way about the Trinity, except they actually do believe they are three separate beings (but one in purpose).

In the end, this slight difference in doctrine has virtually no theological consequences. To make a nerdy analogy, it doesn't matter whether you have three computer processors in one computer, or three separate computers perfectly networked together. The power and function is the same. :)

And yes, Mormons do believe Jesus is God, and they do worship him.

No Joseph Smith isn't mentioned in the bible. The bible was written 2000 years ago. Yes we believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior. He died for our sins and rose in his own body.

Nina it isn't Mormon doctrine that God the Father had sex with Mary. You anti mormons made that up.

Joseph Smith was after the Bible was written. He actually got his inspiration from the Bible

James 1:5
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Yes we do believe in Jesus Christ (I don't know where all these rumors started but people should know better then to listen to them-please don't listen to any rumors)

Joseph Smith is not mentioned in the bible and Mormons preach another Jesus and another Gospel just like the bible warns about. Just because their church has the words Jesus Christ in it means absolutely nothing because people all over the world are using the words Jesus and Christian and they do not know either Jesus nor are they Christian. People are talking about believing in Jesus and God all over the world and it means absolutely nothing because what they mean is not biblical belief.

I'm not going to get into any "Bible bashing" or contentions discussion about this, but I would like to point out that the name of the "Mormon" church is actually "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints"... That should answer your question about whether or not Mormons believe in Jesus Christ.

Nowhere in the Bible is Joseph Smith mentioned. other than where there is warning about the false prophets.

Yes, they believe in Jesus but they do not believe in Trinity. They believe God had sexual relations with Mary and that is how Jesus was conceived. They do not believe Jesus is Father God.

They claim to belive in Biblical Jesus but their Jesus is different Jesus.
