chihuahua?

Your dog is a chihuahua ... and it's EASY to train a small dog like a chihuahua. Put it in a 'small room or closet' with a bed, food and water and LOTS of newspaper on the floor, and KEEP IT THERE ALL THE TIME. Take the dog 'outside' on a leash AT LEAST FOUR TIMES A DAY so it can 'go' outside. It should stop 'going' in it's room because dogs don't like to 'go to the bathroom' where they sleep and eat and play ... after two weeks of 'no accidents' on the floor, start letting the dog out inside the house, but KEEP TAKING IT OUT FOUR TIMES A DAY until it's a year old. Then you may drop two of the 'walks' and take it out only twice a day, but you MUST be sure that it 'goes' when it's out, and that it is getting enough exercise to be healthy and happy. Get it some 'chew toys' and a stuffed animal to 'cuddle' while it's 'in training' and DO NOT PLAY WITH IT unless you are taking it outside for a walk. Then you may play with it, because it won't associate 'play' with the 'potty business' but will associate YOU with both.

Be consistant, don't yell, DO NOT STICK HIS NOSE IN IT. Little dogs have small bladders, they need to go out about every 30 minutes to 1 hr. If you cannot be there to take the dog out, train to one of the pads you get at the pet store, but try to train to go outside. If you see her/him trying to squat, grab her up and rush her outside. Take her to the same place in the yard each time (especially if you want her to go in limited places) Be consistant, and very close watch. Clean any place she accidents (and it is your accident not her's) Use some of the dog deodorizer or at least some bleach. She will go back to a spot that smells. She could also be trained to tell you when she needs to go out. Put a bell on the back door low enough for her to reach. When you take her out have a phrase. (at my house we say "lets go check the back"....sounds better than let's go pee) When you go out, be sure she sees you ring the bell. Ring the bell every time you take her out to do her business. Hopefully she will later ring the bell for you to let her out.

first you shouldn't even own the thing if you can't spell it. 2nd of all, you should have had this all planned out before you go it. tons of info on the net about training, look up specifics...just remember to be consistent.
