No, because there is nothing from which anyone needs to be saved. It would be like standing on dry land and being thankful for a life jacket, just because someone told you a flood was coming.
The flood's not coming. The ones wearing the life jackets have been misinformed, and they look ridiculous.

Yes Salvation is something to be thankful for. Because salvation is God's love and how he sent his son Jesus down on earth to die for us to forgive us of our sins, that is Salvation. Because of Salvation, we can go to Heaven!

same here. Salvation is a gift you cant earn it, only except it I 'm very thankful for Jesus making me able to go before God and be worthy
