You should look into participating in a foreign exchange program. Australia accepts students from certain organizations for a year to live and go to school in Australia. You should look up some student exchange organizations. It would be a priceless experience.

im from australia and i would like to visit italy with my lady very soon ---- she speaks italian and i want to learn --- and i grew up with italian and maltese kids in the 70's so i do have a soft spot ---- im sure there will be plenty of people contacting you --- we are really very friendly --- best wishes and have a wonderful trip
