I figured if I want to be successful in converting atheists to Christianity, why not just directly ask the atheists what it would take?
I am already a successful proselytizer and converter. I am known around my area as the Christian who can convert any atheist. Atheists are afraid to come around me because they know that I will convert them to Christianity. They cannot resist turning to the truth once they've talked to me. It is harder to do this on a forum though.
So, how can I convert you to Christianity? Can you help me out?

I issue you the "Convert Me Challenge". Provide me with your best evidence that Christianity is true, and if the evidence is sound, I will believe.

BTW, spewing the "the Universe is too complex to have come about as a random event" arguments or other pseudo-scientific evidence that god exists won't cut it, because you then have to show me how you jump in your logic from "there is a god" (which I don't even see the least bit of evidence for!!!) to that god being your god.

For arguments sake, lets say science proved that the universe had a supernatural origin. The battle wouldn't even be half way over. You have to then convince me that supernatural origin was you god and not, say, the Sumerian pantheon or the Hindu Brahman.

My question is... why do you want so much to convert them? How can you be so sure they are missing out on anything by being an athiest. Maybe Athiests have better quality of life because they have to rely on themselves and look within rather than without. This could be really empowering for them and perhaps that is 'their' correct path. Why is your chosen path the path that everyone else has to follow? I don't understand your train of thought. What makes you a superior being? And 'your' truth is not everyone else's truth. I am not christian, but I have my own truth and trying to convert me to christianity would be like flogging a dead horse. I grew up in church. I left it behind. I left it behind because it didn't make any sense to me.

There is absolutely NO chance you can convert me! At this point, if God knocked on my door and said he was God, I would probably say cool and ask him if he wants some of the massive green bean casserole I just made, otherwise, I wouldn't really care, because I don't even need him at this point. I am sooo consiously ingrained with my own will and happy with the good person that I am, that I wouldn't change my life to know if God even existed at this point...

For the most part, if you bump into any atheist that is over the age of 35-40, you won't make a dent. Why? Because people who aren't being tortured mentally by the possiblity of being punished for any act they may or may not do, become set in their ways. They become COMFORTABLE with who they are.... If you don't question yourself and it feels right, you don't have a reason to change.

Now, people who are confused... like Agnostics (which are who you probably have been dealing with) will fold like a card table, because they are still searching. My search is complete.

You need to stop salivating, for one thing. You also need to realize that Atheists are not without belief. They believe there is no God. Assuming they are all just wandering like cattle waiting for you to round them up is foolish and insulting. Can any person on the street walk right up to you and just destroy your faith with their talk? No? Why do you think people who have formed their belief over a lifetime are so simple? Successful proselytizer? Really? How has Christ done this for you yet you are all about your ability? Don't you think God can and will supply Atheists for you to convert when you are skilled enough? They flee your artless fumbling! You come on like a religious date-rapist and you think you are misunderstood? No: you need training. And you need God to show you where those who are ready for your conversion await you. You are not asking those whose help a truly religious man would ask - you are out for your own glory, not the Lord's.

Do you think all non-Christians are the same? Some are able to be converted because they are looking for something to fill a gap. Some of those people will find that Christianity fills that gap. Others have already considered Christianity as an option and discarded it as not being appropriate for them. Obviously you can't convert these people and it is obnoxious to try.
Edit: My partner has just said you are are arrogant and that the Bible is strewn with examples that promote humility. Converts aren't feathers to put in your cap and being obnoxious inspires people to actively dislike Christians, which runs counter to your aims.

Well. I am not an atheist for a start. Neither am I christian.
But if you state you are so good at converting atheists to christianity, why are you asking for help.
A good converter doesn't need help...
And one thing is for sure. I would make you look totally foolish.

The Atheists you know must not be real Atheists.
If you have proof, verifiable proof then show me & lets talk.
If all you have is the Bible and 20 pounds of bullcrap in a 10 pound bag just keep walking.

I don't think you're equipped to convert atheists to Christianity.

You seem to lack the linguistic skills and the depth and breadth of knowledge that would make you particularly persuasive.

Maybe atheists are not afraid to come around you, but rather find you annoying and avoid you for that reason.

I was a Christian once. Big mistake.
I know your beliefs and the fallacies they are based on.
There is nothing that could possibly convert me to start believing in such a twisted and delusional fairy tale of wishful thinking.

It's part of God's plan that you can't convert me.
