have the charging rate tested,,
charge battery,,,,wrong result if battery is low
measure,battery voltage,,,engine off
measure battery voltage,,,engine running, and all light on,,,
A/C on,,on park,,,accelerate up to 2000 rpm,,,
you should have a reading of .point five volt higher than ,when the engine is not running,,,
if not ,,your alternator is not the right amperage or not working, right,,,

Yeah, it isn't charging the battery. The new alternator should have solved that, but something is wrong. You can check battery voltage easily with a cheap voltmeter, it should be about 14 volts when the car is running. Maybe the new alternator is not connected right. Sometimes really corroded battery cable terminals will be the problem, but you would have seen that when installing the new battery. It shouldn't be too hard or expensive now that you have already bought the most expensive parts. Hope you kept the sales slips.

Alternators for Ford products are notorious for failure...even new ones. Plus, Lincoln's need a very powerful alternator due to all of the electrical accessories. If you have your receipt try looking into having the alternator checked and replaced again if needed. Some places install the alternator based on engine size alone therefore while your engine may be the same platform as a similar Crown Victoria all the extra Lincoln gadgits will draw more current. Good Luck!

It's called and alternator and yours is probably shot. Put in a new one. The battery may go bad if you keep doing that.

Get the new battery and alt. checked at a local parts/sevice shop
A lot of new parts may be faulty.
Also, there maybe a break in the wire between the alt. and the batt.

either its connected wrong or your new parts need to be replace. To check your altornator stick a screw driver beside it if it fall the the altornator is bad if it stands the altornator good.
