im at a loss my dads got terminal brain cancer and is too ill for treatmant also he has gangrene no one can tell me how long we still have with him the doctors just tell us he is not a well man as if we dont know. has anyone else experienced simlar situations

Every ones situations are different. If you have faith in god turn to him if not talk your family and friends to get yuo through the tough times I have witnessed miracles so dont give up hope

I'm sorry for your situation but there is really no way to tell when he will pass away. Usually it will be within a year.
Right now spend as much time together as possible. If you want make a scrapbook or something celebrating his life and it can be passed down to future generations.
You might also want to look at support groups if you are need additional emotional support etc.

My grandfather recently died from lung cancer all you can do is spend time with your dad he knows you love him but I am sure that he appreciates it when he is told. The time will come when he lets go be there for him. I am sorry for your pain but we all lose people we love it's part of being human.

Yes, I'm sorry to hear about your dad. The best thing you can do is let your dad know how much you love him and make him as comfortable as possible.

its impossible to predict death, but doctors can usually predict surviablitty rates. Sounds like they they are teling you that there is no chance for survial, but dont know when or how long he will have left.
