I'll forgive them just fine as soon as they stop trying to pass laws that make me live under the restrictions of their religion.

Bless you, JM.

I know what I am doing. I am trying to be like Jesus. I try to treat others as I want to be treated.
I ask for forgiveness when I have done wrong or when I hav e hurt someone.

I do not try to convert anyone, and I accept others' religious beliefs or non-belief, as the case may be.

I try not to retaliate when I am called a moron, an idiot, am told that I am uneducated (though I have 5 college degrees), and that I am unworthy of any respect.

If I need to ask forgiveness for all of that, I do so.

Will you please forgive me for being a Christian and for trying to be a good person?

It has been said that atheists are good, loving, accepting people who respect others.

I believe that MOST of them are.

Wow, For a smart person, you are clearly abusive to people you don`t even know.... You should apologize.. Tsk Tsk.

Oh yeah, We don`t need or ask for your forgiveness.. We have done nothing wrong. It is not wrong to believe in whatever you believe in.. So, no need for you to forgive me.. I have never done you or any other person any intentional harm..

Peace & God bless from Texas <><

Real christians aren't judgemental of others who don't share beliefs. We know our religion, and we speak our opinion, but I would like to personally apologize if we hurt you.

There's nothing to forgive. Every man must make his way through life according to his own lights. They have their way, I have mine.

It's not a forgiveness thing... it's more of a "let them say their piece, nod and smile, let the issue go" thing.

In this case, I think the "No True Scotsman", argument applies. The ones who know what they are doing aren't Christian, except in name.
