That's easy and there are a few options. 1. Take MTA line 4 or 304 from Santa Monica to Santa Monica Blvd and Fairfax and transfer to line 217 which will take you to the Chinese Theater area which is at Hollywood & Highland. 2. Take MTA Rapid line 720 from Santa Monica to Wilshire & Fairfax or Wilshire & La Brea where transfers can be made to lines 217 on Fairfax and line 212 on La Brea both of which continue to Hollywood & Highland. Cost either $1.25 per boarding or $5 for an all day unlimited pass. Good Luck!

you could take the 704 to Santa Monica and Fairfax
()you can catch the 704 in Santa Monica at Ocean &Santa Monica, 4th&Santa Monica and Lincoln and Santa Monica
(additional stops in Santa Monica are 26th and Santa Monica
Blvd)
then transfer to the 217 to orange Dr and Hollywood and you will
be right there
cost would be $1.25 per bus (or get a day pass for $5.00)
