My brother died last Dec at age 34- He just stopped breathing and they couldn't find anything wrong with him in the autopsy. No toxins, no brain bleed, no heart problems.
Whenever we'd talk about the future, getting old, being grandparents or anything like that, he would say "I'm not gonna live THAT long"
Now I think that's why he never finished college, did his own work instead of pursuing a career and wouldn't plan ahead for anything.
It is weird

My grandmother passed away last week. She kept telling us that she wouldn't be here too much longer. She was in the nursing home for about a year. The last time I saw her she told us it would probably be the last time we would see her living. That was back in August and true enough it was our last time seeing her. Don't know why this happens so often but I agree it is strange and interesting how some know that death is near.

Yes. About 3 months before my husband died of a sudden cardiac arrest at age 32 years, he told me he didn't know why but he just felt like he was going to die young. He started investing money (thank goodness) and made amends with his family which had been feuding for years.
They never found a cause on his autopsy.
Kinda spooky, huh?

One of my best friends died of cancer a few days ago. She had been given 2-5 weeks to live and died in week 3. But she was prepared to go and her heart was right. So she is enjoying her first Thanksgiving in Heaven.

My friend died of cancer in October. It started in her lung and spread to other areas of her body as well as her brain. It was a very agressive cancer and was less than 3 months from her diagnosis. She told me she had heard a voice that told her that she was going to die soon. This was 2 weeks before she was diagnosed. I spent what time I could with her and was trying to finish machine quilting her quilt tops so that she could see them completed and could pass on to her family. One day in late September, I took her shopping and on our trip back to the house, she told me that she was going to be gone by the 19th. I was skeptical as no one really knows when they are going to die so I even wrote it on my calendar! She also told me the bells were a sign. I didn't know what she was talking about, but figured it was the cancer in the brain to cause her to not make sence. Anyway, on the 19th of October I went to visit her and brought her 5 quilts that I had finished up for her. One of them was a wall quilt that was made up into a wreath with a bow around it. It didn't dawn on me until then when I showed it to her that I had sewn some jingle bells on it! That day was the last day I saw my friend. She got worse that day and they took her to the hospice care unit and she died within that week! As if that wasn't eerie enough, her brother also had lung cancer (only he had battled it for two years). She told me that it was a standing joke of which one of them would die first. As it turned out, he died a week after she did. Well.... that really wasn't the eerie part..... it was for the fact that one year ago in October that their dad died the same week she did and her mother died a week later! Her dad's death was due to his brain also, but unfortunately I didn't ask about her mother as she just told me that she had died of a broken heart. I am actually afraid to probe more with too many things more than coincidental!!!
My grandfather died very suddenly of a heart attack in his 60's a year before he retired. My father died exactly the same way in his 60's, just a year before his retirement!!! They say that history repeats itself...... if so.... I just need a 10 year calander!

I was human resources manager in a company and an employee came to my office on a friday and said he needed to purchase life insurance because he had just purchased a motorcyle. He said jokingly he would prolly get killed on it on Saturday. The next day, on Saturday, he died from a motorcyle accident.

My identical twin died 8 months after she was diagnosed with cancer. 4 weeks before she died, she said to me, "I'll miss you."
Your question brought up horribly painful memories. If it had happened to you,it would not be so interesting.
It's sad!
Our birthday is in 11 days.
A little bit of me died with her.
