I'm like 5'3 and 175 pounds. I know how bad that sounds, but I'm not horrable looking, just real chunky in the stomach, and a little in some other places. But models, like Adriana Lima etc. can be like 5'10 and under 120 pounds, and they don't look like anorexic. If I had the same bmi as that I would gross, and probably thinner than that. I eat like crazy, but ride my bike like several times a day. I think I have a lot of stomach muscle and some muscle in my legs. But a wide flat butt. I don't get it.

I have the same body frame as someone very thin. I still just don't get it.

the BMI does not account for muscle or fat. this is exactly why someone with a low BMI can have a high percentage of body fat and why another with a high BMI can have a very low percentage of body fat.

the body fat % is a more accurate indicator as it works for everyone and for every body type.

forget about your height and weight. for optimum health in the long and short term reducing your body fat % to below average levels is all that matters.

All you need to do is get a job that involves you walking 24/7
You need to cut down on the food and stop feeling sorry for yourself, I'm not saying it in a rude way but rather a caring way :)
Buy healthy things, and if you're really up to it be Vegetarian, It's healthier actually to not eat meat! It will put you into a fit frame. Put down the tv remote and those tacky magazines and go out into the real world. Hang out with friends that just don't hang out in the food court all day too. It will just make you more depressed in life if you don't do anything about it! From eating all those fatty foods all day you're just making life shorter for you, try making a real dinner tonight and throw away tv dinners, snacks, all plain junk. Keep doing it for months and you'll see a difference.
Good luck :)

Maybe you just need to step up your cardio - but I feel you. I am 5'4 and weight 150lbs most of the time (probably more after eating yesterday and today!!) and my friend (who is a personal trainer) tells me that I need more cardio - different kinds so that my body doesn't get "used to" the types of excesses I am doing. I also think that a person's frame makes a difference on what we weight and how it looks. A larger frame person can carry more weight and look just as good as someone with a tiny frame. Personally, I wouldn't look right if I weighed 120lbs! I doubt you would either! :)

Your BMI is probably really high. People are just made different. Shed the weight and let the stomach muscles show. Wide flat butt does not sound good.

I appreciate that it truly is the way they trust, even if it truly irks and annoys me for the straightforward incontrovertible reality that i'm getting about twenty of those spamming up my newsfeed. i'm no longer a Christian in any respect, yet even as i changed into, it aggravated me then to. those like your get jointly annoy me the most because they're obnoxious and conceited. I recommend, no longer all of us trust in hell or the Christian idea of heaven so it truly is type of rude. even if, to unravel the problem on condition that i am going to't come out of the "broomcloset" basically yet to have them make it the position i am going to't see the posts, I basically click the conceal button. i have consistently believed that in case you don't like something, then you do not ought to envision it, take heed to it, see it, etc. it is your decision even if to proceed to do look, listen, see, etc. or no longer.

Don't know exactly what you're getting at, but muscle mass weighs much more than fat so you could have two people, same height and weight, but the one with more muscle mass will look thinner. Hope that helps.

eating like crazy and exercising it's possible you have a bit of muscle most female models that are tall and thin have very little muscle mass. Of course it's well known that muscle is far denser than fat.

It's true that muscle weighs more than fat, but it sounds like you're heavier than you should be for your height and that's unhealthy. Maybe you should consider running to get into better shape so you can continue to "eat like crazy".

Try watching what you eat while continuing to bikeride and do some muscle strengthening throughout your body.
I recommend pilates!
Your weight should even out.

Everyone's body is built differently. 175 on someone else who is 5'3" could even look different, based on how much is fat, how much is muscle and where they carry it.
