What do I need so I do not over cook it. It is my first time cooking it and I want to make sure it comes out moist.

I usually only cook and eat fish and chicken and last time I cooked a steak for someone it was over cooked and not so great.

Any recipes or sites recommended would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I am putting stuffing inside.. so a crock pot or crack pot won't work. Thanks for the attempt though.

Ah butchers love these!! i wouldn't recommend cooking your stuffing at the same time as the prime rib because it will take alot longer to cook in the middle..i would definitely cook the stuffing seperately so the meat isnt dried out and horrible.. only cook to med rare at the most because anything above that is not the proper way to eat meat! umm make sure you sear the entire crown roast to seal in the juices.. have fun.. its easy!

A big oven. Crown roast of beef is very large and expensive as it is made from the rib section. Use a meat thermometer. 135 deg for a nice rare juicy roast.
