Yes, I have quite a lot of experience getting scholarships. I've also been on a couple of scholarship committeees. Details matter. You need to learn to spell and punctuate properly, use caps at appropriate places, and dreary nit-picky things like that. It is extremely important, so practice writing properly whenever you write ANYTHING. Lots of applications get tossed out without even being completely read because the writer did not care enough to use correct English. If English is not your native language, get someone to check whatever you write for errors. It IS important.

Dear Sultan,
I personally do not have any experience in getting a scholarship for studying abroad, but I will find out as soon as I can from a family member who did come from Kenya Africa on scholarship to study in Canada. Please give me un-till Monday or Tuesday to find out.

Not lucky enough. but recently my cousin has got a scholarship. she is in Canada. that was a lovely news for all of us that she got it in Canada, after working so hard.
Moral of the story: Hard work always pays off. sooner or later. :)

All the best if you are looking for one in the future :)
