A little turkey meat won't hurt dogs, however, too much will cause diarrhea and vomiting, followed by dehydration and then a trip to the vet will be needed.

It is important not to give dogs any turkey drippings or fatty skin. Depending on the dog's sensitivity, those could cause not only intestinal upset but also pancreatitis.

Up to the owner. I eat organic real meat turkey, so yes the dog gets some plain unsalted real turkey, white meat, cooked. A slice. Smaller breeds get smaller pieces, bigger breeds get bigger pieces. And only if my dog is healthy and not having digestive problems. I always add organic carrots and potatoes (raw for them) too.

You can feed a dog turkey, but I would not recommend it.
It is hard for dogs to digest, so it can sometimes cause issues like upset stomach, vomiting, or diarrhea in dogs with sensitive stomachs. If you do decide to give them some, make sure it is just a very small amount.

A dog is allowed to eat whatever you give them you make the rules.

Should they eat turkey I would say a little is ok but not a lot and youi don't want to give them human food too often or they will stop eating their dog food.

turkey is fine for dogs. just be careful and not too much all at once. they might bolt it down and then throw it right back up again.

turkey is the main thing in some premium dog foods, it is much better than beef which is an allergen for dogs.

Yes dogs can eat turkey, but same as chicken better to give it without the bones, cause they crunch the bones and swallow and the sharp edges can stick in throats, big problem

Turkey... yes.
Turkey bones... NO.
As with all human foods only give small amounts to dogs that are on comercial dog food diets as it can cause stomach upset if they get too much at one time.
Give as a treat. Not as a heaping helping.

I have a small dog; 11 1/2 pounds. She was at the vet for her annual check-up the day before Thanksgiving. I asked my vet this question. The answer was, white meat is okay, cut up small; no dark meat, no skin; no fat; no bones.

noooo. There was something on the news about that, and it said it was very harmful for a dog to consume turkey.

I felt bad last night because my dog was begging for it. :]
But yeah, it's not good for them.

the only meat that really dogs are not supposed to have is pork because it seems to upset a lot of dogs stomaches. but you can feed them pretty much anything, that they themselves will eat
