As hormones change in a male flashes of hot can be common. However I don't know your other physical background so if it's causing that much of a problem you may need to be checked out by a doctor to see if you're having blood pressure problems or anything else that can cause this. Anxiety attacks can make someone feel like they're having hot flashes too. The best thing you can do is ask to go to the doctor and go back alone and have a good talk with your doctor.

Your body is dealing with fluxing hormones before they settle down into the normal adult male doses. If it's real problem, you should ask your doctor.
I'm a post-menopausal woman, and I can tell you that hot flashes aren't subject to the pwer of suggestion. Mie are on a very predictable 2-hour schedule.

You might be flushing - your vascular system is working hard at that age. You could also be getting moderately sexually excited - which is also normally accompanied by an increase in body temperature. Anything else would be caused by something affecting your hormones - a strong medication or something like that, so if you are on something - ask your doctor about it and at least ask the pharmacist about side effects of what you are taking.

Check w/ the school's nurse. Seems to me like you may be experiencing a mental condition (bi-polar systems). Call a pharmacist at a local store. Tell your mom about it! I'm not keen on the power of suggetion thing; but that's MY opinion. It could be something that you will need to seek medical attention over, but it may be just a growing thing. I'm not male, but I do have a younger brother, who always wanted our home cold when we were still living at home.... NMow that I am w/ a man of my own, come to think about it, at age 41 he likes it colder too! always has. Before I came into his life he never used heat...

* Vitamin E (make sure the bottle says d-alpha) 400 IUs twice a day.
* B-Complex, there's not one multivitamin out there that has enough Bs in it for a hormonal woman. The Bs help to get the hormones in balance and hold them there, they are also great for stress.
* Natural Progesterone which will reverse estrogen dominance and at the same time will wake up those estrogen receptor sites so hot flashes, night sweats and vaginal dryness goes away.
speak with your doctor!
