Okay, for the past couple of years, everytime I eat something, my lower abdomen just totally bloats out, and it looks like i'm pregnant. It's better in the morning, but i still have it. if i suck in, i look normal (which i have to do everyday for school). I'm not fat, i'm not overweight, i'm slightly underweight actually. and l have abs but only when i suck in. i think i have some sort of bowel disease!

Track what you eat - try to identify what makes it worse. You make a gluten/wheat intolerance. You could be lactose intolerant. There are a number of food allergies. You can either go to the doctor and get specifically tested to see what may be causing or you can just be very observant after you eat to see what may make it worse.

Do you eat a lot of raw foods or food high in fiber? That can also cause a lot of bloating.

sorry to latch on to your question, but i was going to ask a very similar thing. I have a BMI that is exactly in the middle of the range and i have very little body fat. I excercise all the time and have very strong abbs. I can see the muscles at the top of my belly easy enough but at the bottom i bloat, its not after i eat though its all the time and i dont know what the cause is. Ive been told by people that i look pregnant, and so i suck in as you do but i have recently tried to stop doing it, it hurt to say the least they had been tensed for too long i guess. First i thought that i may be lactose intollerant, but that turned out to be wrong after extensive investigation. I thought it might be water retention because i often drink vast ammounts of liquid (not alcohol). The only thing i can think of now is sugar, can too much sugar cause something like this?

Well, i'm guessing its bloating. If you eat a lot of sodium. (think, salty foods)... then your body will bloat out, becuase you also retain water.

your abdominal muscles are very weak and this is why your stomach extends after feeding. you need to start exercising and training your abdominal muscles and your lower back area.

Try taking (eating) TUMS (or other such) before eating.
