They'd run around like the guys from Dragnet. A man and a woman.. I believe they wore like blue suits.. they'd write on this dry erase board too I think. But would solve the mysteries and cases using math. And go out in the field too.

You're talking about the "Mathnet" segments from "Square One Television" which ran on PBS from 1987-91.
There were several half-hour "Mathnet" specials that ran in the early 1990s.
