It's being served with a traditional turkey dinner... turkey, stuffing, green beans, rolls.... It's more of a sauce then a compote...

I would say about 1/3 C per person...some like more, some like less, but remember it's more a condiment than a side

Can you be a little more specific?? What are you serving WITH the cranberry compote.....If you could provide additional details, you'll get a more complete answer.....

I'd go with 1/3 cup too. 1/4 looks chintzy, 1/2 would be too much with all the other food.
