the remington 870 is the best 12 ga you can buy for the money. about $200 to $250 for a brand new one(walmart, academy sports, etc) dont get a mossberg biggest poeces of crap you can buy.

The Mossberg 500 sells for about $250.00 brand new at dick's sporting goods.Great gun easy to shoot nice and light to carry.Only problem i have is that it's tough to disassemble and reassemble
