I'm Welsh but also see myself as British and I don't have a problem with being part of the UK although with all the mismanagement currently going on in Westminster it does make me wonder if Wales would be better off going it alone. I have nothing against England though, my partner is English. I hate anti-English BS.

It's strange to hear talk of of separation from places like Scotland, Ireland and Wales, if we give in and allow separation who do you think it will benefit. I know for a fact that if the English pulled out of the UK and withheld the finial support that we now provide the other "countries" will find it very difficult. The very simple fact that Scotland benefits through extreme institutional redistribution. The Barnett formula means that Scotland benefits hugely from English taxpayers - to the tune of £1,236 per person! Other areas of the UK certainly don't benefit by so much and in the same way as Scotland does.
Figures from the Scottish Executive show that the British Government spends £1,236 more on every person in Scotland than it does in England.
How do you explain that then! Why are the English paying for you all in Scotland?
The bare facts show the Scottish economy has underperformed the UK as a whole since 1975, seeing average annual growth of less than 2%.

Screw the Scots there a bunch of over patriotic arrogant idiots who hate anyone that is not Scottish but like some people who hate the English!
I am Welsh and as much as i love the non violent English bashing as do the English to us which is just a bit of fun I would not want Wales to be seperated from England I know the question was aimed at the Scots but your not going to get and joyful answers from them.

Makes you a Brit, not a Scot, if you 'enjoy' UK status. I've from the north of Ireland and I hate UK status - do not acknowledge it. I am IRISH! Brits out!
