Absolutely, we pay very close attention to this with field trial dogs. They will always favor one side or the other which means that we have to put in extra effort to teach them to turn the other way.

Dogs can show right or left paw preferences. A quick search found some conflicting results. One study showed about 57% right-paw preference, 18% left, and 25 ambidextrous. Another showed about an equal split between right and left. Another indicated females might have a preference for the right, and males for the left.
So yes, they can be either, but it's not clear exactly what the percentages are, whether there are sex differences. It probably also depends upon the task being used to measure. It's an interesting question, but one with no definitive answer as to what the nature of those preferences are.

I really don't think animals are different than people in this way. Some animals will step out always with one foot first (ever watch your dog when you are training to heal?) and some animals seem to prefer to do different tasks with different feet, claws, hands, etc.
I would have to say yes, they can favor a paw for certain things. Perhaps each paw may be used for a different purpose (or not).

Yes, dogs are right or left pawed. If you pay close enough attention to them you can tell which, but most people don't pay enough attention to their dogs body language to notice a difference.

absolutely! like humans, dogs have feelings. like humans, dogs have their own minds. like humans, dogs can be left or right handed.
whichever front paw the dog uses first when walking, will determine whether it is a lefty or a righty.
80% of dogs are right-handed
20% of dogs are left-handed
