I want something that has some get up and go, I like the look of the ricers but i would rather drop dead than drive a civic, it has to be decent on gas and not horrible in the snow either, any input?

Check out craigslist.com and look up the cars section. There are plenty of vehicles there. Look up your state and city, and you can get a good deal if you are patient. There are different cars on there daily. You will find what you want quick.
Good Luck.

Why drop dead? they are reliable and save money on gas plus front wheel drive.
Are you looking to make yourself look good to your friends or need transportation. Use what works.

Get a corolla then!

You are getting very particular for $2,500. What are you expecting? I would consult someone who knows about cars, who most likely attends used car auctions, and see what he suggests and see what is available. Many repos go to auction so chances are a good buy is available.
