from red tones to blonde?

My hair is light ash borwn but its kinda red, like in the sunlight, i want to get heavy blonde highlights in my hair. will they turn out orange??? help!

Hey dont worry i had the same problem as you. Just got to wal mart and get platnium blonde highlight it will say on the box and leave them in for about 20 to 25 mins and they'll come out bright blonde and all your red will be gone. yes they will unless you strip it and get a hairdresser to do so . make sure you go to a hairdresser . good luck and god bless.
