Ok I got a friend who got fat. I eat a lot and I don't gain anymore weight now. So 3 years back I was in cross country and ate lots and lots of carbs. No matter how much I threw down I didn't get fat and I kept running and got thinner. My friend on the other hadn was forced by his dad to eat no carbs at all. He had to eat veggies, fruits, and little meat. When his mom buys duck, his father would yell the sh** out of her and she throws the whole thing in the garbage.

I mean he eats noodle soup without the noodles. He says this diet will help him. And looky here he eats normally again and turns fat. I guess he ruined his metab? Or should I say his dad ruined it?

Thanks for reading.

I would guess that you kept your weight down with your running program. Your friend got carbs in both the vegetables and the fruits he was forced to eat. With an abusive father in the mix, I would guess he's doing emotional eating to fill the pain of the abusive environment. He needs to get on a diet that provides all the nutrients he needs and get more active. But most of all, he needs help dealing with his family situation. His dad sounds three clowns short of a circus.
