Since people run religion, shouldn't the question be where are people taking the world? Shouldn't we be accepting the repercussions of our own actions instead of blaming it on another party. Hey, if I **** up, I **** up, and nobody is perfect.

It's not religion that is taking the world anywhere, although certain bad religions do not denounce intolerance. Because of these the world is becoming somewhat polarized in those areas. Just a natural thing. Not anything to worry about.

What we need to be concerned about is aggresive groups of ANY kind with ANY motivation/excuse who desire to control others. This age-old thinking and arrogance and lust combined with modern weaponry is taking us to WW3 and Christ's return, who'll save us from our natural selves.

There is truth and there is religion. Jesus brought the truth. Since then all religion has been trying to prove it wrong. Don't blame the war on terror, on Christianity.

Depends, some forwards some backwards. Of course if you're fundamentalist and murder anyone who doesn't submit to what you say is bound to bring the world backwards.
