My Uncle told me he has a bunch of old camera lenses that fit on the Canon AE cameras. I don't really shoot Canons, so I didn't know the answer when he asked if his old lenses will fit on modern DSLRs like the Rebel. Any Canon pro, your input would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, Canon revamped their lens lineup when they went from manual focus to autofocus. None of the old manual focus lenses will work on a modern Canon EOS AF camera, including the digital SLRs.

unfortunately they must be the EF series lenses for them to fit.

There is an adapter available for $49.00, will only give you manual focus and no infinity focus.
