Bugs Bunny, in English "What's up, doc?"
Bugs Bunny, in Italian "Che succede, amico"? literally: what's going on, friend? ["Che succede, dottore?" in Italian sounds odd]
Cosa c'è? (meaning is closer to "what's wrong?)
Come va? (how are you going?)

All those sentences are invariable, regardless you're addressing a male, a female, more people.
