Please get your dog fixed. It is NOT necessary for them to go through a heat first.
More than 6 million will be euthanized this year due to no fault of their own. It is the RESPONSIBLE thing to do.

It is common with dogs in heat, but you should get her spayed, then you wont have to worry about any heats, or pregnancies =)
