about me as a muslim , in islam we follow the Quran and The Quran, the last revealed word of God, is the primary source of every Muslim’s faith and practice. It deals with all the subjects which concern human beings: wisdom, doctrine, worship, transactions, law, etc., but its basic theme is the relationship between God and His creatures. At the same time, it provides guidelines and detailed teachings for a just society, proper human conduct, and an equitable economic system.

Note that the Quran was revealed to Muhammad in Arabic only. So, any Quranic translation, either in English or any other language, is neither a Quran, nor a version of the Quran, but rather it is only a translation of the meaning of the Quran. The Quran exists only in the Arabic in which it was revealed.

Salaam Alaykum, It is my understanding that with one language there were no room for multiple versions and a severely guarded Holy text not to be tainted as those before. Our prophet Muhammad PBUH also know has never been depicted in art except in obscure way with no actual trace of his face so that people would not make the fatal mistake twice of worshiping of a Prophet Jesus PBUH again as a god. Islam expands many countries and languages...it is ideal to get a fundamental understanding of Arabic as it's root word can have many meanings...thus Imams are schooled very well all over the world to learn and interpret Arabic to their native tongues to worshipers. Without these
incredible learned and educated teachers Islam would not be a worldwide religion. Many young students begin as early as five years old to learn the Qu'ran by heart in Arabic even if they are Pakistani, Turkish, Moroccan, Bangladeshi, Indian, Malayasian, Indonesion, and Iranian as none of these Muslim countries use Arabic as the native language.
Wasalaam

As a Baha'i, I follow the Word revealed by Baha'u'llah, in many, many books. Of the books, I think the Kitab-i-Iqan (Book of Certitude) is my favorite, but I also like The Seven Valleys & the Four Valleys, which are more mystical in nature -- and, of course, the many prayers.

There is no holy book I follow.

However, Confucius, a wise teacher circa 500BC wrote that you should not do to others what you do not want others to do to you.

I think that is something that we all should follow to make the world a better place.

Why would "God" reveal his word in a language that only a limited number of people could understand, is he not multi-lingual!? That's ridiculous!

Same goes for the Bible and the Talmud.
