My girlfriend just bought me a 42" HCT plasma tv from the military base, I've been seaching for any info on the company myself and have had no luck..I'm hopeing that they are a sub division of a bigger companyso i can feel better about my brand, i'm also getting some screen burn, it goes away after awhile, but it is still a little anoying....I've even called best buy to ask an assosiate about the company but they had no idea---NEW INFO--
I found info on the brand and the subdivisions of the brand at the web site givin'...HCT is a division of the hansol group of Korea...

I own Vizio and Samsung televisions. I have a 37 inch Vizio LCD in my master bedroom which I love. It has a great picture and sound. I have a Samsung LCD in the living room which I also love. Personally, if you have the money, I would stick to the upper tier tv's also in the living area/family room and maybe get a Vizio for your bedroom or other rooms in the house. And if you have never heard of the HCT and only heard/read bad things about them, then definitely don't buy one.

yes but its not korean brand i am not
sure there is any brand in korea
that makes tvs exept sumsung
and LG no kedding these brads are from korea
trust me search it on google

and you'll get 62" inches plasma tv of sumsung

i went and got this plasma on black friday at the PX/BX. i thought twice about getting it.. cuz i neva heard of the brand. but, so far im satisfied with the purchase. HD is great. hopefully it will last a couple years. if it doesn't. oh well, i'll just have to go buy a different one.

MY HCT PLASMA WAS BOUGHT 10 YEARS AGO AT THE BX. IS STILL WORKING GREAT!!!!

All I know is plasma tv's get hot. Heat is the enemy of electronics. They don't last long.
