Most good company's would do that, but part time rarely gets 40 hrs. So it makes it hard to get overtime. So its really up to the company. But usually they need people to stay and work. So most will offer that for a incentive. Happy Holidays!

That is a contract or hiring agreement issue. When I was in retailing, premium rates were paid across the board for such things, but it is not required.
