I had a very strange dream, about water and things that I understand, but this I don’t get:
There was three hexagon shaped sort of greenhouse things with like glass panels for looking into, in the fist one, was a chimpanzee that scientists had done medical tests on and it was half alive and moving slightly... It was in a baby cot with bars. I can’t remember what was in the second glass but in the third one was a family of black people that had to face the glass and sit as if people were taking a photo, just so that people could look at them. They were all set out with some standing and some kneeling, as if they were in a zoo! It was the sort of thing I thaught might be in the olden times when black people had no rights.
It was weird.
I have no idea how to try and understand it. Do you?

hexagon shaped greenhouse things = things to hold, freedom lost, helpless
chimpanzee half alive and moving slightly = helpless, seeking for help
family of black people = comparison, helpless, seeking attention

I am not sure if you have watched some movie or books or History channel. If so, that may merely mean a reflection of your movie, book, media experience. However, go deeply this dream shows sign of helpless conscience about things you are concerned about. You in one sense are seeking for attention about things you can't do much about. Projecting family of black people may seem like slave in the old times that were in a closed place like zoo. You projected first chimpanzee, then the third one is family of black people. It may symbolize the freedom lost in you.

In translation, you are seeking some help in reality. That may involve with some freedom you feel you lost. In your case, you may be feeling like an animal or slave. You subconscious mind skips the second glass room or you don't remember it. That basically tells you that you are in confusion some how. That is why that is shown in your dream or you simply don't remember it.

In conclusion, you may be experiencing something that is dealt with others or yourself about freedom and you may be at the same time feeling helpless because there is nothing you can do about and you vent it out in dream.

Your dream seems to saying to you that there are things that you view or percieve as being on display for all to see. Also, it seems that you may be displaying some compassion as you view those in this case as prisoners of society and that they have no choice in being subjected and display the way they are.
