I have tried with both the Hepburn and Monbusho systems and jujutsu is the romanization that I come up with. Is there some archaic romanization system that I am not familiar with, or is it just a mistake?

JUJUTSU is the proper term soft or non resisting method science technique etc. using the opponents momentum and or strength against him.
JUJITSU refers to the reality of something the proper way to see or do a thing.

As they both contain the term JU or soft they are actually saying the same thing just a different perspective.
