Depends on if you're referring to the man-made GW theory or just GW in general.

Climate has always changed since Earth's formation. It will continue to do so until we're enveloped by the sun in 5 billion years or so.

A firm and ever-growing body of evidence points to a clear picture: the world is warming, this warming is due to human activity increasing levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, and if emissions continue unabated the warming will too, with increasingly serious consequences.

Yes, there are still big uncertainties in some predictions, but these swing both ways. For example, the response of clouds could slow the warming or speed it up.

With so much at stake, it is right that climate science is subjected to the most intense scrutiny. What does not help is for the real issues to be muddied by discredited arguments or wild theories.

I'm know in lots of ways we are hurting the earth and ourselves. Thanks to technology we are living longer and using more machines and resources to live. But, this whole global warming issue is personally....hard to swallow. I can't help think of personal gain when I see Al Gore talking away about the effects of green house gases. I think most of them are hypocritical. They give a huge speech then get on their personal jet heading back to their 10 bedroom home. I mean give me a break! Yes pollution is bad, there are way too many toxic causing plants and carpooling is a must. But for every 1 scientist that supports global warming...there are 2 that disapprove and say the world's temperature is fine and normal. It's a very confusing subject. For me I'm 50/50 leaning more toward "normal" for the time being.

we will not be around to witness the actual global warming. But there is nothing to fear: global warming happens naturally every ten thousand year s or so, then changes to ice age again, then does it all again... etc.
normally, humans would have adapted, but us humans have cheated, and instead of adapting ourselves to the environment, we adapt the environment to ourselves (in other words, we are lazy), via 'technology'. seas might rise a bit, but not much. also, if an iceberg melts, it doesnt make the sea rise, it just fills up the space that the iceberg took.

The truth is that God made the earth self sustaining. It naturally compensates for problems.

Think about it,.. more heat would mean more clouds to block the sun. But that's not what scientists are claiming on either side.

In short, Democrates are conciously or subconciously creating formulas that are giving them the answers they want. They believe that Christian Capitalists are ignorring the enviorment in favor of money.

I do believe in healthy ways. I'm not the one who shot down windmill farms in wisconsin and minnasota (democratic owned states). They sited bird migration problems. Even though you can have a windmill that turns slow and gear the turning to your advantage.

this link,.. the bottom middle one is the most practicle.

Yet,.. who'd doing what's practicle.
Why aren't there places to update houses with these projects? who's going to maintain these projects? Why aren't democrates working to get cost of living down. That's our number one problem. Two income families where both parents come home braindraned and don't raise their kids.

I believe global warming is a natural cyclical process that takes place over tens of thousands of years, giving man, plants and animals an opportunity to adapt to climate changes and different weather conditions.
However, I also believe that man's Industrial Revolution of these past 150 years has accelerated the natural process, which has not allowed Earth's inhabitants to adapt properly to the coming climatic variations.
We have squandered Earth's precious resources; refused to REuse, REduce and REcycle; polluted our air and water; over fished our oceans; destroyed valuable rain forests and mangrove forests; ruined rich farmland in our quest to drill for oil, mine for coal, explore for natural gas, and build beachfront property with acres of asphalt and concrete; and ignored the plight of species facing immediate extinction [such as the polar bear, remote Eskimo tribes, Asian elephants, tsetse flies, and millions of other species of plants and animals].
We've failed to recognize the delicate ecological balance between all men, plants and animals so necessary for our very survival on this planet.
We have been outrageously incompetent stewards of the very Earth over which we were given dominion.
And our grandchildren and great-grandchildren will suffer for our squalor and incredibly wasteful arrogance, avarice, hubris and gluttony. -RKO- 11/23/07

It will kill us all until and unless we do something to improve our lifestyles and enrich the environment with trees and diversity in flora and fauna. Countries should sign the Kyoto Protocol to save the world from a possible disaster!

i don't think it is panic time. the earth goes through cycles of warming and cooling. if we destroy the planet then it proves we were never meant to be here and who ever dropped us off here was right to get us off their planet before we destroyed it.
