Since it's been 38 minutes since you posted this question, I hope you're not sitting around waiting for the "right" answer too appear. I hope you've already wrapped that kitten in a warm blanket and taken her to an emergency clinic, if your vet isn't open today!! NEVER let ANY dog be alone with a KITTEN. They just aren't big/fast enough to get away, when the dog "turns" on them. Good luck.....I sure hope you're not home reading this, unless you've already been and come back from the vet's.

Just because there's no blood on the outside, she could be hemmoriging on the inside, You need to take her to the Vet ASAP. Not sure how long the kitten has been "in shock" but she wouln't be in shock for long. Animals bounce back, unless harmed- I don 't understand, I love my animals- I'd never take a chance wondering if my animal was ok. I'm not rich but I'd bring the kitten to the vet as soon as it happened, and she didn't act normal. I hope the kitten is fine- good luck

shock can kill, she needs to see a vet so they can check if she's OK. she may just be shaking through fright but you can't take the risk, also she may have internal bleeding...

not long ago my kitten caught her tail in one of the kids bike chains as she was playing near it and the bike moved. I had to free her tail and it was a little bent, she was not holding it right, and she seemed in pain. I got her to the vets and when i got there the tail was fine and NO pain at all......It cost me £18 fora consultation fee but at least i knew she was not hurt,
your cat may just need a quick check that won't cost too much. But then again she may need life saving treatment......either way she needs to be seen

OMG how big is the dog?!! take the KITTEN to the vet and if your dog isnt good around other animals or cats, you need to keep them seperate or get rid of the kitten or dog.

No, that is not correct, there is no advantage in forcing the kitten to stay awake, it will only increase her stress levels.

Please take the kitten to a vet, they can die of shock.

The dog needs to be disciplined as well, make sure you correct this behavior or you'll have legal liability when he does this to another person's pet.

Keep the kitten warm, and get help as soon as you can.

Call the Vet and set an appointment right away! Go to the Emergency Animal Hospital.

Wrap kitty in a blanket and go to the Vet A.S.A.P.!

And next time, please don't let them "play" together unsupervised!!!

TAKE HER TO THE VET! YOU SHOULD NOT OWN A CAT IF YOU DON'T KNOE WHAT TO DO AT A TIME LIKE THIS! WHY WAS YOUR CAT ALLOWED TO PLAY WITH YOUR DOG UNSUPERVISED? ITS YOUR FAULT NOT THE DOGS FAULT. WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL 911 INSTED OF TAKING THE TIME TO GO ON THE INTERNET?

instead of taking the time to post this question and wait for responses you should be taking her to the vet. call them and tell them what happened and that you need to bring her in
