If you are slender and your stomach looks blah, then try exercise like pilates. If your stomach is pudgy, then modify your diet and combine it with exercise. You can target muscle growth, but you can't target fat loss. Good luck!

Base your diet on these things:

1. No fast or fried food
2. Drink 8-10 glasses of water
3. Sleep 7-8 hours each night. It gets your body to work better
4. Each day do 45 or so of physical activity.
5. Cut down sugary sodas
6. No white carbs
7. Cut down alcohol
8. No processed sugar
9. do more cardio than ab routines.

Crunches will help a lot. Start with 5 or ten a day and gradually increase the amount. Do them in the morning and evening. Eat healthy too. Sometimes your stomach will bloat because you ate right before you went to bed or because you eat in between meals. Make sure to be finished eating at least three hours before you go to bed. Eating healthy doesn't mean eat a little. Make sure to eat a good full and healthy breakfast. Normally ppl eat their biggest meals in the evening. Try to eat a light dinner but don't starve yourself, just don't stuff yourself.

Crunches and other exercises to tone your back and abdomen. And you can walk: A lot of malls open their doors earlier for people who walk for exercise.

Good luck!
