She should leave it to the police to deal with. She doesn't have to answer to anyone.

Perhaps the person she was accosted by was a fanatic and out of order and cast a poor reflection on Christianity, but that doesn't mean she isn't in need of repentance and salvation just like everyone else on this planet who is still living in sin.

Neither you or I know her personally, but I can assure you that no Christian would glory in writing books that glorify witchcraft.
A true Christian wouldn't even think of writing a favorable book concerning this abomination. The Bible is expressly clear on condemning witchcraft among other ungodly evils.

She shouldn't respond at all. Celebrities unfortunately constantly need to be on guard for mentally ill people. She is aware that her work has been a flashpoint for the crazies of the world. By responding to them, she would only increase the attack and leave herself open for danger. Hopefully she has body guards.

It's funny that Harry Potter could cause so much terror. The book is full of Christian ideals. You know, love, friendship, always do the right thing, that sort of stuff. The books are so nonthreatening I just don't get it.

She should simply respond with legal action. Any person who would confront a person in a "terrifying" way needs to be stopped, and might be dangerous.

She should show that ignorant Christian that Harry Potter, at its simplest, is a Christian allegory, and then invite them to a reading.

What are you, her manager?

She should wave a wad of cash in front of their face and laugh like a baboon.

Rowling doesn't need to worry about responding to man; she needs to worry about responding to God on Judgment Day.
