The VIN tag is on the door jamb - it didn't move to the dash till '68-9. I cannot help you as I'm more familiar with the later cars, but if you go to www.moparts.com, you will find someone who will answer your question accurately.

FWIW, engines were available from 318, 383-2, 383-4, 440, and 426 Hemi. Production fell to about 15,000 from around 37,000 from the previous year.

I have never owned a '67 Charger but have owned two '69's and one '70, still have the '70. If a '67 has a vin plate like the later Chargers it will be on the driver's side of the dash near the base of the windshield, the size is approximately one half inch by 3 inches. I've never seen Dodge or any other Chrysler product name on them but they do have the Chrysler pentastar and I believe "Chrysler Corporation" or "Product of Chrysler Corporation" stamped on them.
