Despite relentless attack on islam by media, fundamentalists & Hindu fanatic bigots, why islam is so popular?

I cant stop admiring the religion of Islam for its beautiful teachings and morals when a very vicious campaign is being waged against it by intelligence agencies, media, intolerant christian fundamentalists and fanatic Hindu bigots. So many famous and well known personalities have embraced Islam and time and again its beauty shines and enthralls people. yehiya emerick, bilal philips, muhammad ali, yusuf islam(cat stevens), US navy officer heather ramaha, italian ambassador, kamala suraiya, famous indian writer, deputy director general of BBC, all these and other exceptional men and women testify the beauty of islam so that the hate mongers and others can follow light and embrace islam.

Are you proud of the recent attacks by Muslims on peaceful Buddhist Monks in Southern Thailand?

Are you proud of the History of genocide committed by Muslims in the name of Islam where the Babylonians were totally massacred to make present day Islamic Iraq? The massacres of the Parsees to make the present day Islamic Iran? The massacre of the Buddhist Natives to make the Islamic Afghanistan? Not to mention the massacre of the Hindus and Sikhs and others in India.

And you call the Hindus "fanatic bigots"?

Hell, they haven't paid you back in your own coin despite all the History and the unending atrocities your people pile on them even to today! Trust me, if it had been someone else, all the Muslims would be dead in India, not the second largest majority that they are, today, over there!

Is it not written in the Koran that it is your [Muslim] duty to kill every idolater? Do you call this "Beautiful"?

Is it not written in the Koran that it is your [Muslim] duty to work for World Domination? That's what the "Terrorists" are doing. Isn't this "Beautiful" Islam?

If you ask me, it's time we started giving you Muslims a taste of your own medicine.

We should ban all Mosques in all all non-Muslim Countries, because the Koran says that the dhimmi [only the Christians and Jews may survive as sub-standard citizens in Islamic rule, called - dhimmi] may not repair their Places of Worship which were destroyed by the Muslims nor practice their Faith publicly. We would just be doing what the Muslims would do to us if they won, you see.

We should not allow the Muslims to have the "Minority Community Rights" they cling on to because they themselves claim that they are achieving Majority!?

Incidentally, because I have an Outsourced Office in Bangalore, India, where I go a lot, I know about India and Buddhists, Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and Muslims first hand.

I find Vedic Hinduism quite fascinating, by the way; though the present day version is quite ridiculous.

I'm afraid I don't know the person you mention, but, rest assured that my information about Islam and it's spread are very authentic.

You know nothing about the RSS.You r just a viewer/reader of media.Therefore,it is adviceable to know the RSS first before making such comments about that organisation.RSS is the only organisation which is preaching patriotism and serving the people in need without any help from the Govt.Their members r not interested in "castes".You like people and the so called secular Governments can't stop islamic terrorism or illegal conversions.Only RSS is a threat for them.It is the reason that they have tried their best to ban the RSS by influencing their favourites.RSS is of the opinion that all the citizens should be treated equally,But Muslims,Christians and pseudo secularists believe in the provisions of special status.So,rethink about the RSS and deliver mature question.

Islam is not very popular at all. Most liberally educated people shun Islamic fundamentalism, a throwback to Dark Ages suppression of the masses.

Some responders who have mentioned evil influences in your religion may be onto something.

There are not relentless attacks against you and your religion, only objective reports of immoral and inhumane atrocities commited in the name of God.

There are many reputable websites that address the above, such as Jihad Watch.

So much more can be accomplished with tolerance, communication and cooperation, aspects of human conduct proscribed by Koranic literalism.

When will the voice of those who testify the beauty of Islam denounce the violence and intolerance of the extremists? (Perhaps they already are and I am failing to notice?)

Besides, please be thankful that in the west, you aren't put to death for being Muslim, because in some Muslim countries, you can be put to death for being gay, you can be "lynched" by the population if you are a Christian or Jew etc. etc.
