Poor him, he must have been confused, first he thinks josephs his dad, then he thinks he's gods son. Either Joseph, jesus, or mary (maybe all of them?) must have come up with some pretty good cons to con the people (no offence 2 ppl that r christians) walking on water? water to wine? one fish to way more?

Matthew 26:62-64 (New International Version)

62Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus, "Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?" 63But Jesus remained silent.
The high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ,[a] the Son of God."

64"Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied. "But I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven."

Jesus denied being God. He said many times that the father is greater than I am.
Realize this, a GOD cannot die.
After his sacrifice a reward from Jehovah was to give him eternal life within himself.

He never said "I am God". He did say "The Father and I are one".

However, look at what everyone around said. They said "surely You are the Christ".
