My 15 year old daughter did yesterday right after Thanksgiving dinner. Since there is NO POSSIBLE WAY she can get to be with Jesus now, I made her pack up a suitcase then I dropped her off at the bus station.

What have other Christian parents done?

Do you really think anyone believes this is a real question?

hmm. Is this an example of how Christians treat their kin? I am most heartily glad that I am a Heathen. Our family ties are much stronger than that, even if the child does something we disapprove of. Your duty is to your child first and yourself second. 15 is no age to be out in the world on your own. Have you stopped loving her because she has different views from you? do you not care if she is picked up by a rapist or child abuser?
If the answer is that you don't care then I think you are despicable. She should have your love whatever she does, she is of your blood.

Christian or non-Christian, you love your child unconditionally. You may not like her choices but they are her choices to make, not yours. Accept her for who she is and if she doesnt want to share in your religious beliefs, forcing her into them and banishing her out of your lives will only make the rebellion worse. Religion should be a choice, not a requirement and deffinatly not a requirement to keep the love of your family. So if this indeed is a genuine question and not a person who THINKS they are being funny, THEN shame on you for turning your back on your loved ones!

Are you just trying to bring attention to this site or what? Cause if you did do that you're vulnerable to get arrested for child endangerment. It's one thing to bring attention to yourself, but there are lines that needn't be crossed. On the other hand if you're for real, the when she's talked to a cop, you can bet that they'll want to have a talk with you.

The blasphemy challenge is a farce. If people truly understood scripture they would know that their statements were not binding since that is not how we blasphemy the spirt.

God wants me to tell you you did the right thing. God will take over her destiny from here on. All other parents should do the same.

What a nice parent. If anyone goes to hell it should be you.
