what does it mean when my dog is always hungry?

If the stool sample comes back negative, you should talk to your veterinarian about what kind of dog food you should be feeding. It could be that he just LOVES food and it could be that he is not getting enough nutrients. Different breeds and life stages have different nutritional needs. If he is a puppy, you should be feeding a high calorie, fat and protein diet to help his growing body. Also, he could need a high performance food if he is high energy. The medicatoin is 20-40 dollars. Yoy give it to your dog for 3 days and your dog will get better. If your dog kisses you , you may catch worms! I could be worms but you can find that out very easily by bring in a fecal to your vet for them to test.
Some dogs are just chow hounds too. They will eat themselves right into a coma if you let them. If your dog is at a good weight than he just loves to eat and nothing more. You need to keep him at a good weight and feed him only what the recomemded amount is not more.
