The best tip for powder is for you to realize that its not really there. Unless its more than 3 feet deep you are still skiing on the surface of the snow that was there yesterday. Do not sit back. keep your ankles and knees bent but be agressive. Ski hard and remember to do what you have in the past, because you are just skiing on the same surface that you did yesterday without powder. There is just some loose stuff on top.
Now you do have to make adjustments for heavy snow. Some people still refer to this as powder, but it is not. That fresh field of snow can be a pain if the water content has turned it into concrete. You will still be sking on the bottom layer but you will be pushing a lot of snow. Try to keep your tips up but the basic principles still apply. All in all, don't let the concept of Powder freak you out. Most of skiing powder is mental. You will have a ball if you just pretend that it is not there at all.
For deep powder tricks let me know.
Thats a whold different story!

Just ski like you normaly would. Keep your weight centered, dont lean back. Keep your skis shoulder width apart, dont bring your feet together. start slow on easy runs and work upso you feel comfortable in steeper, deeper snow.

think like you were driving in ice and snow - easy on the gas and breaks - don't slam into your turns - reach with your pole and roll around into your turns.
