The 2 vehicles & engines are identical except for the upgrades(*) to the FFV .
FFV stands for Flex-Fuel Vehicle, which is a Vehicle that operates on a blend of fuel ethanol and unleaded gasoline, containing up to 85 percent fuel ethanol. Should fuel ethanol (E-85) not be immediately available, this vehicle can operate normally on unleaded gasoline.

(*)FFV engines have special upgrades to avoid corrosion & wear
-fuel tank has a special coating
-fuel lines are nylon6 or stainless steel
-fuel injector in alcohol tolerant
-valves & seats are harder
-head gaskets are more robust
+a sensor detects when a vehicle is being refueled
+after a short drive, the system determines what fuel is being used and adjusts the air/fuel mix accordingly
+this results in a seamless experience for the consumer no matter which fuel mix is used
+can be operated on regular unleaded gasoline or E85 or any mixture of the two
+E85 is 15 percent gasoline and 85% Ethanol
+Ethanol is produced from crops and is a renewable fuel which reduces our dependency on imported oil
+engine produces same horsepower and torque with E85

The FFV is a Flex Fuel Engine capable of running on E85 ethanol or gasoline.

The Triton can run only on gasoline and would be damaged by E85 ethanol.

This is the only real difference.
