I have 2 cats whom i've had for years. I recently purchased a home with dogs on both sides of me. I frontline both cats once monthly and have sprayed the interior of my home a number of times using indoor/outdoor pest sprays.

Clearly this isn't working for me. Does anyone know of any good tricks or sprays? Thank you so much for your help!

I would suggest moving on to Frontline Plus, as this helps prevent further/reinfestation of the environment. You are getting the stuff properly on the cat's skin, not their fur, aren't you?

I would think the spray you're using is ineffective. Many are. If it's from a pet store, that's a fair guarantee that it's going to be ineffective. I would suggest you get a proper spray from a vets - Indorex, Acclaim, Staykil or Skoosh - and spray the whole house, then hoover the next day. Then turn up the heating a little to encourage remaining eggs to hatch, and repeat this process 10-14 days later. If you manage to get hold of Skoosh, you should only have to spray once.

Also try to educate your neighbours on proper flea control, if they're receptive!

The frontline every month is great for the cats.....Try running the sweeper every 3 days , making sure to get the border areas..where carpet and hardwood floors meet and around the baseboard areas. Make sure to dispose of the bag each time, and I mean put in trash outside, not inside. It usually takes a few weeks to break the cycle.
