Is it me or are you also pissed off at Sony. Why do we have to cough up so much for a PS3.. It's always the same, we in UK always have to pay much more than all/most other countries..
With the new 40gig model by discontinuing the 60gig.. What a joke.. I don't want a 40 gig at a knock down price, look at the sates, they've got 80gig for like $500.. that's a joke!.

Taxes are high! But it's relative, If you calculate the power of the £ it doesn't cost that much to produce it in the first place..

i like my united states of america yet palms down Australia is the suited place to stay. i've got been to the U.ok. and apart from the history and being on the component of France, that is no longer a place i'd choose to be. right here in the U.S. we are actually not some distance in the back of on the "too depressing to get off the mattress" life form. so which you're able to pay lots for a cheeseburger; you reside in paradise!!! Import taxes and shipping cost. To ship Products to the U.K. for sale in the U.K. the taxes are high and get added to the cost of products. Especially electronics get hit the hardest.
