sometimes Satan think that God can be tricked and fooled.
That's what Satan did. as how Satan tempt us by using references.
God allowed this and not only this but so many examples are in the bible to give us the light that when we come to the downfall of Satan we should be strong as once we become angry against God Satan get a reason to take us.
So Saturn was happy to the suffering of Job but from God point of view it was to provide light to others that they should withstand temptations.Just for Job reference all of us can escape such type of trap.

Satan challenged God. In Job it tells us that Job was a very righteous man in God's eyes. Satan told God that if God took everything away from Job, then Job would not love him anymore. God wanted to show satan that there are righteous people out there who are not so easily swayed away from God. So He gave satan permission to do what he wanted to Job. Job never ever disrespected God once during his trials. Jobs wife told him to give up, curse God and die. Jobs friends basically told him to give up, but he never once did. He questioned God a lot. And in the end God, Himself came to answer Job's most pressing questions. This book shows us many things. For one it shows us that suffering is not always a penalty for sin. It also shows us that God is always in control, God made satan and is in control over him. It also shows that it is ok to question God, God understands, as long as you are righteous in your questions. It also shows us that whatever God takes away from us, He will give it back, plus much more, for in the end Job was richer then he was at the beginning of the book.
The book of Job is fascinating to read and contains many lessons in it.

Satan accused God of protecting Job. Take everything away and see if this man Job will still serve you , said Satan,. So God let it happen, just to prove Satan a liar and also that mans integrity can overcome hardship.

God and the Devil made a bet that Job would abandon God's grace if calamities were poured on him, God won cause Job didn't crack under the pressure. At least that's what's in the Bible.

Job 1:10 Hast not thou made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

Job 42:2 I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withheld from thee.
Job 42:3 Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

Job 42:7 And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.
Job 42:8 Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.
Job 42:9 So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job.

Job 42:12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.
Job 42:13 He had also seven sons and three daughters.
Job 42:14 And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Keren-happuch.
Job 42:15 And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.
Job 42:16 After this lived Job a hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations.
Job 42:17 So Job died, being old and full of days.
