"mauled" seriously?
If your daughter was "mauled" - how dare you let her be in that enviornment again!
maybe you just need to look up the word mauled - some grandparents!

THE DOG IS STILL ALIVE it would have been dead the first time i have a chow-chow and if i think she wont like someone i put her up so that there is no chance of a mauling , she is very protective of me and my wife , last night a family friend was over i was in the bedroom sleeping and my wife was in the bedroom's bathroom chewie was lying in the hallway our friend went to use the bathroom in the hallway and chewie growled at her got up ,and stood there to make sure the friend didn't get any closer to our room , now here's the point if this has happened before then why was this dog out where your child was at ? and why wasn't it put up since it happened once before i would have killed the dog if it was my child who was molled the first time regardless who dog it was

I hope your daughter is fine. Something needs to be done if they have not put the dog down already. I think you have grounds to withhold visitation rights. Depending on which state they live in you might be able to sue for pain and suffering. You might even be able to file criminal charges as this is the second time it happened.

Go after his parent's homeowners liability policy. You need to file a claim - no need to sue them unless you have trouble with the claim being paid.
Then, I would NEVER let my child go back if that dog is around. I can't believe it happened before, and they allowed that animal to be in the same proximity as your daughter. Where the heck are their priorities?

How is your daughter? Wow! Being mauled once is more than enough, twice by the same dog, she may require counseling. I would call the police file a police report, or the hospital probably did when you took her. I would contact and attorney and file a lawsuit against everyone involved... God bless****

My God, I hope she wasn't hurt too seriously. File a claim with their homeowners and if they reject the claim sue the grandparents. That never should have happen because that dog shouldn't have been there after last time...

I'd be taking it to court for damages, not just insurance. Its not the first time they've let it happen. Kids get killed by their grandparents dogs, two this year in England if I remember rightly. This is serious and they need to act like it is. Maybe a dent in the wallet will make them understand. To be honest who cares how they cover it?

I would suggest you shoot the a@@hole, but then you get in trouble with the law. Call animal control and have something done about the Dog! Have your lawyer tell the other "Dog", (your ex-) that the kids don't visit until the dog is gone.
