I think it is great, and in the best interest of their country. Other people and countries look at America and degrade us for our immigration policies. But yet MOST other countries have stricter policies than the United States. It is said that we were built on immigrants coming to this country. Absolutely true. But in the past it has always been done with dignity. People came to America to become Americans, learn our language, obey our laws, and become hard working upstanding citizens. Today we have millions of illegal immigrants pouring in, not wanting to learn our language, not obeying our laws, stealing peoples identities, wanting to change our ways, our language, our culture. Not to mention obtaining free health care, schooling, as well as a list of others. At what point do we say STOP? At what point do we protect the integrity of our country? At what point do we demand to know who is here, and who is coming in? We need to be strict with people coming in,(Especially with terrorism in today's world) we need to know who they are, why they are here, then we can let them assimilate into the American culture, as good citizens, English speaking, law abiding citizens.

definite, Japan is doing it good to guard harmless Japanse public from crimes dedicated by making use of foreigners. these days, there are chinese language visitors stay in Japane illegally after their visas expired. They dedicate crimes and contain in prostitution. With all centred visitor's fingerprints in record, the police would be greater waiting to song down those criminals.

The Japanese are simply trying to protect their citizens from those who would enter the country to do harm to their citizens.

Fine by me. They have a right to protect their people. So do we.
I hope they give you some way to wash your hands, though, so you don't get ink all over your luggage.
