I read in the newspapers. I question everything I hear on TV or hear from another individual because all you are hearing is someone elses point of view or their slant on something, but as Christians do you take everything you read in the bible as fact regardless of anything.

I'm one of the most sceptical people I know. If you tell me something, I want to know where you got that information, and how reliable that source is.
My decisiton about the value of the bible as a whole was based on thousands of pieces of external evidence. People who assume that christians don't think usually haven't really talked with many.
I guess I take the concept that the whole bible is fact, but accept that my interpretation is flawed, and I'm always open to changing that if someone has a better perspective, or if I can come up with a better understanding of what it means myself while reading it.

As a Christian I find that if I have any question regarding the Bible the best person to seek enlightenment of God's word is the Holy Spirit who is the author of the Bible:

1 Corinthians 2:9,10 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

Christians have divine help in understanding the Bible.

What we read on bible was written thousand of years ago, seen thousands of years ago, by people with the knowledge and understanding of thousand of years ago. If someone could travel in time, I'm sure the story would be told differently. Nevertheless, the teachings we can find there are still actual.

2-
Have not non belivers visted the world and saw what happened to those nations who were more powerfull than you and where they went due to there sins.
3-
HE has created the sun and the moon and the earth and all are travelling in a specific direction for specific time.
4-
Mohammed(Peace be upon him ) said Muslims go and seek knowledege where ever you find it.
The prophet again said getting education is necessaty and religious duty of every human.
Then how can any body says that ISLAM stops analysis and education.

I take the bible sometimes literal, sometimes as a type & shadow, It all depends on what verse I am reading, because the bible is literal & also shows a type & shadow of something. & it takes the Holy Ghost to show you how to understand the bible, A carnal minded person can NOT understand the bible.

in the scientific community, people who have ideas throw them out there and scientists from around the world pick it apart and try as hard as they can to shred it to pieces. This way, only true facts can emmerge.

In the religious community, you're expected to swallow it all up.

as a result, religious people tend to be very naive....they believe everything they read and hear, including what their religion tells them. I guess they're not smart enough (or perhaps their just too lazy) to question anything.

To religious people.....WAKE UP!

No I don't.

The command to love your neighbour over-rides everything else. The Bible gives many examples of how to do it, but every person must interpret the command in the best way.

Not necessarily, some of the Bible is literal, some symbolism, and some, allegory. The art is in knowing which is which.

"Prove all things, hold fast that which is good" (1 Thessalonians 5:21

My faith in the Bible is not a blind faith -- it's been tested and proved to be true. So, I hold fast to it.
